### 初中生假期英语日记

**January 15th, 2023**

Its been a week since school ended for the winter break, and Im already feeling the excitement of having so much free time on my hands. Today, I decided to take a break from my usual video games and explore the town with my friends. We decided to go ice-skating at the local rink, which is a great way to stay active during these cold winter days. 𝘤𝒂𝚗𝒈𝕛𝚒𝑬.𝓒𝒏

**January 16th, 2023**

Woke up early this morning, feeling refreshed after a good nights sleep. My parents surprised me with tickets to a magic show in the city center. It was an amazing experience watching the magician make things disappear and reappear right in front of our eyes. I cant wait to try some of the tricks at home with my friends!

**January 17th, 2023**

Today was all about relaxation. I spent the day reading one of my favorite books, \”The Great Gatsby,\” by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Its a classic that Ive been meaning to read for ages, and Im glad I finally got around to it. The descriptions of the parties and the characters lives are so vivid that I feel like Im right there with them.

**January 18th, 2023**

My aunt and uncle came over for dinner tonight. They brought with them a homemade lasagna that smelled heavenly. We sat around the table, talking about our plans for the holidays and sharing stories. Its nice to have family gatherings during the holidays; it reminds me of all the love and warmth that surround us.

**January 19th, 2023**

Today was a bit of a challenge. I tried to learn how to cook pasta from scratch, but it didnt go as smoothly as I had hoped. The water took forever to boil, and the sauce seemed to burn before it had a chance to thicken properly. Still, it was a fun experience, and Ill definitely try again soon!

**January 20th, 2023**

My friend Alex invited me to join his familys annual snowball fight in their backyard. It was freezing outside, but the excitement of running around in the snow made it all worth it. We built forts and snowmen, and even managed to hit each other with snowballs without getting too angry! It was a great day spent with good friends.

**January 21st, 2023**

I spent today practicing my English conversation skills with my little sister. Shes only six years old, but shes very eager to learn new words and phrases. We played a game where I would say a word in English, and she would repeat it back in Chinese, and vice versa. It was a fun way to practice and also helped me remember some vocabulary better.

**January 22nd, 2023**

Today was all about self-care. I took a long bath with my favorite lavender-scented soap and read a few chapters of \”The Great Gatsby\” again. Afterward, I did some light yoga stretches to relax my muscles. Its important to take time for yourself during these busy holidays; otherwise, you can get burned out easily.

**January 23rd, 2023**

**January 24th, 2023**

Today was all about giving back. My mom suggested we volunteer at the local soup kitchen, and I couldnt agree more. We helped serve lunch to the homeless people in town. It was a humbling experience that made me realize how lucky I am compared to some people. I hope to do more volunteering in the future.

**January 25th, 2023**

The last day of my winter break is here, and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, Im excited to go back to school and see my friends again; on the other hand, Im going to miss all the fun activities I did during my break. But no worries; theres always summer vacation to look forward to!
