**January 10th, 2023**

Today is the first day of our winter vacation, and I am so excited to have some time off from school! I woke up early in the morning, and my mom surprised me with a warm breakfast of pancakes and fresh fruit. She said it was a special way to start our vacation.

After breakfast, I decided to take a walk in the park with my little sister, Lily. The snow was still covering the ground, and it was so beautiful! We built a snowman and had a snowball fight. It was so much fun!

In the afternoon, I started to think about what I could do during the vacation. I remembered that Mr. Johnson, our English teacher, had given us an assignment to write a diary in English every day. I decided to start with todays experiences.

**January 15th, 2023**

Today was a special day because it was my birthday! My parents surprised me with a cake decorated with my favorite character, Mickey Mouse. We had a small family celebration in the evening. My sister and I sang happy birthday to me and blew out the candles together.

After dinner, I spent some time reading an English book called \”The Cat in the Hat.\” Its one of my favorite books, and it always makes me laugh. The story is about a cat who comes to visit a boy and his sister, and they have lots of fun together.

**January 25th, 2023**

Today was a bit rainy, but that didnt stop me from doing my English diary. In the morning, I did some online learning activities provided by our school. They were fun and helped me review what we had learned in class.

In the afternoon, I helped my mom cook dinner. We made some delicious chicken soup, and it smelled so good! Cooking is a new hobby of mine, and I enjoy trying new recipes in English. Its a great way to practice my language skills while having fun.

After dinner, I practiced some English writing exercises provided by Mr. Johnson. He asked us to write a short paragraph about our favorite memory from the vacation so far. Heres what I wrote:
